Perry Lawson Fine Art and Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center, as neighboring art organizations in Nyack, NY, have organized concurrent exhibitions of the work of contemporary artist Jill Hoy.

At the Edward Hopper House Museum, the exhibition "Side by Side" (October 10 to January 11, 2026) celebrates the profound creative bond between two accomplished painters, Jon Imber (1950-2014) and Jill Hoy (b. 1954), whose 23-year marriage became an ongoing artistic dialogue. Like husband and wife Edward Hopper and Josephine Nivison, Imber and Hoy created an artistic partnership where they continually challenged each other to explore color, form, abstraction, and mark-making.
